Bio:

Known for passionate, humor-laced delivery, Edith's message reflects her experience in a broad range of social and corporate environments. Her "Green People" presentation expresses her belief that human beings are America's greatest resource. She challenges her audiences to move beyond diversity; master and appreciate mentoring; flow through life changes and communicate fearlessly.

She was elevated to Fellow by the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) for her contributions to continuing education for the design and construction industry. Edith became national President of the Institute in 2003. She was the first African-American and the third woman president in the 60-year history of the Institute. A high frequency speaker in the design and construction industry, Edith also inspires and re-energizes persons involved in education, healthcare, and social services.
